Our classes are designed to keep your birth preparation relevant, practical, and empowering, no matter where you’re planning to give birth or what type of birth it may be. With Zara’s extensive history of working with the biomechanics of the body there are also extras thrown in along the way such as exercises to help maximise pelvic space during labour.

Frequently asked questions

I can't relax will Hypnobirthing work for me?

Our Hypnoborthing courses are designed for education as well as relaxation so you will still benefit from attending. Can I let you in on a little secret?? Relaxation is actually a learned skill that we can get better at with practice so put the work in and Im sure you’ll be surprised at the results and how good you can be at it!!

Does my Brth Partner need to attend?

Although we recommend birth partners attend you will absolutely still benefit if you attend alone. Why should they attend well the course is designed for both you so they will learn:

  • How to support you physically and emotionally

  • Comfort techniques

  • What’s happening during labor

  • How to advocate for your preferences

Birth Partners often say they feel more confident and involved in the birth process after the course. Plus its a great chance to bond with each other and your baby!

I'm Getting induced should I still Book A Course?

Absolutely! The tools learnt in Hypnobirthing are especially helpful for inductions, as they help you stay grounded and reduce anxiety, in what can sometimes be a lengthy process.

What If i'm having a C section?

Yes! The tools learnt are helpful to keep you relaxed and calm during a c section and we have a module designed specifically for a calm caesarian birth.

Will Hypnobirthing give me a pain free birth?

No-one can promise you a pain free birth from hypnobirthing. BUT we do know that labour is the work of muscles, and pain is linked to tension so if we can remain relaxed in labour, well have less tension and therefore more comfort!

What If I go into labour before I finish the course?

Our courses are designed with no fluff so once you have access you can get stuck in straight away, providing useful tips from the get go means no matter how short on time you are you’re still sure to benefit.

when is the best time to start a course?

Most parents find that starting between 20 and 30 weeks of pregnancy is ideal, as it gives you plenty of time to practice the relaxation techniques. However, the information and tools are incredibly valuable at any stage so do get in touch if you’re discovering this later in your pregnancy and let’s see what we can do together!
